Sylvana Krausse

Having studied English and French language and literature, my professional journey led me into teaching English for engineering students at universities of applied sciences. I hold a Ph.D. in linguistics focusing on the use of corpus linguistic methods in English for Specific Purposes.

My professional interests lie in modern teaching approaches in English and intercultural communication. I am particularly passionate about developing digital learning resources to enrich the learning experience for students.

Since 2009, I have served as a professor of English at A. University of Applied Sciences, where – alongside my teaching responsibilities – I am the head of the language centre.
